ParrotHead79 Posted April 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2007 I am in cabin # 2389 Just wondering if anyone has been in this cabin? Carnivals website says it has a single convertible sofa and an upper. What does this mean? Is this a bed that folds out of the wall? Also, if anyone has a picture of this cabin I would Appreciate it. serene56 Posted April 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2007 Your cabin sleeps 4 people-- it can hold up to 5 people. two beds on the floor- an upper bed that pulls from the wall and a convertible sofa-- the back somes off and its the bed. (look at the bottom there is two drawers for storage. your cabin "COULD" look like this-- it gives you an idea of what you might expect the upper bed will be put away during the day while you are at breakfast and bought down again at night while you are at dinner. here is a photo of a convertible sofa-- made into the bed-- notice the upper bed above that is not taken down from the wall
ParrotHead79 Posted May 1, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 1, 2007 Thanks for the reply. I hope the upper will stow in the wall during the day.
georgiacruizer Posted May 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2007 On the Glory, the upper actually came down from the ceiling, but was very similar. It was parallel to the sofa/bed below it. We got the impression from our steward that it would be a big deal to raise and lower it every day (I guess its quite heavy...) so it stayed down the whole cruise. It wasn't really a big deal as it didn't take up any floor space.
