Holiday Inn Port of Miami Is there anything nearby

I just booked this hotel minutes ago for August. Got a great rate $111 through the AAA web site. I read somewhere...maybe orbitz or travelocity that the hotel is very nice and is right across the street from Biscayne Bay (which I've been to a few times). There's plenty to see and do there...shopping and restaurants.

Are there any stores near the Holiday Inn for things like soft drinks and water? :)

There is a Walgreens a few blocks (walking distance) away. 1 Se 3RD Avenue.

Across the street is Bayside Marketplace with restaurants shops and some tourist attractions.

When you come out the front of HI turn right and go down a couple or 3 blocks (very easy walk). Look down the side streets and you will see it. Not sure what hours they keep, we were there Sat around 9am. There is a McDonalds 1 block behind the HI, turn left when you come out. Great entertainment and food at Bayside right across the street. Don't wander much farther at nite time though. Even the locals will tell you that.

We just got back last week. We stayed at the Holiday Inn. The above info is right - just go right out of the hotel and got down several blocks to Flagler - it was about a 10 minute walk and go right on Flagler. It is right there. We bought water and Pepsi and walked back with it. Bayside is awesome! Have a great time!
