marylizbeth Posted May 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Has anyone heard anything about any cruises to the Baltics being affected by the unrest in Tallin? Wonder if the violence continues if Regent will still make this stop? We are on the June 12th Baltic voyage. Marylizbeth

marylizbeth Posted May 5, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 5, 2007 Here is a link to one of the many articles on the riots, etc. http://news.monstersandcritics.com/europe/news/article_1297502.php/Tallinn_braces_for_second_night_of_violence It seems things got pretty nasty..we head there in a month on the Baltic June 12 cruise... Also I don't know if it is related but I thought it was interesting that now when you go to sign up for a cruise excursion online you have to sign off on a waiver saying that you know that Regent has no responsibilty for problems you might encounter on the excursions. I don't remember that before..

HomeLover Posted May 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2007 It will depend on how it is when you are there. The grand crossing did stop in Morocco despite the problems there because they have settled down by then. You just have to be flexible.
