mom x4,grandma x4 Posted May 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2007 You'll love being a grandma!! Take him or her on a disney cruise as soon as they are old enough!! Congrats!! Ok a banana head is the name a goup of people who cruised together last November when we met on a cruise meets thread. We all went on the Magic last November, about 65 of us including kids. One man kept posting dancing bananas with his posts, soon everyone was doing it. So we called ourselves the dancing banana heads. By the cruise we had over 10,000 bananas posted on our thread. We became good friends. We just clicked for some reason. We had matching lime green shirts made up to wear the first day with a dancing banana on it carrying a suitcase heading for the ship with a silouette of a Mickey head on the suitcase. What a sight we were with all those green shirts!! We had a huge meet the first day on board and we became like a family. We are still all in touch and several of us are cruising together this november and about 3/4 of us are cruising together yet again in November 08. Some of the wives even volunteered their husbands for Karoake and we named them Tiara Bob and the Dreamboats. Long story behind that name:D The guys did sing and were pretty good, especially since they had never sang together before and had NO practice. The wives sat and cheered and did the wave for them and people were wondering what was going on??? it was so funny, of course you would have to of been there to appreciate it. They are a crazy group for sure!!! So bottom line a banana head is a person in our cruising group that is fun loving, funny, and loves DCL. Anyone who posts with us on our thread will become an official banana head too!! We love having new friends joining us for our cruises, all ages!! hope that answers your question, kathy
