3rd & 4th Pullman beds??

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a picture of an inside state room that has the 3rd & 4th pullman beds??

We have booked on Legend OTS for Dec 2005, and will be travelling with our 2 boys. They will be 5 and 7 at the time. We have no idea what these beds might be like, or if it is a pull out sofa.

Just a little nervous about the space issue.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

We had pullman beds on our Grandeur cruise. The room steward has to pull these down from the ceiling; they put ours back up when they made up the room. There is a ladder, side rail and light on each bed. We had 3 adults in the room and I was the lucky one who got to sleep on the pullman. My pillow kept sliding down between the head of the bed and the wall; I solved that problem by stuffing one of the couch cushions in the space. Just picture a top bunk bed without the frame.

The 3rd and 4th pullman beds are like bunk beds above the 1st and 2nd ones. They can be opened up and used just like bunk beds, or they fold up into the wall, giving you more room to move around in your cabin. They are exactly the same size as the regular bed and are very sturdy and strong. We also have a 5 and 7 year old. They LOVED the pullmen beds!:D It also has a safety rail so you don't fall out. Plus, when my youngest climbed in the lower bed with daddy to snuggle during the night, he got into the top bunk so he'd have more room. He is 6'6" and is built like a linebacker. But it was very sturdy and held him, no problem. You use a ladder to climb into the pullman beds. Their being high up and needing a ladder to climb in them made it a blast for my kids. They don't have bunk beds at home, so this was a fun new experience for them.:)
