Which side for Hawaii Port or Starboard

That depends on your itinerary. My understanding is that each cruise does a slightly different itinerary, which will impact the way the ship is facing on any particular leg of the trip. Check out the online posting for your cruise -- most lines will have a map with lines tracing out the itinerary of the ship. If you don't have something like that, then just pull out a map and figure out the most likely path of the ship. That will help you see which side of the ship will be facing the islands the most often.
