We will be in port @ Cabo. Mazatlan & Puerto Vallarta. Is a person able to walk to the beach access, or is this not possible ? We are hoping to find the water without taking a tour/shore excursion. Any info will be appreciated. "Thanks" ahead of time !!

in cabo you can take a water taxi right over to medano beach, the main beach area, its only accessible by water taxi,, its a nice area with resturants, lounge chairs, you can rent waverunners. parasail.or whatever

in mazatlan we took a taxi to the golden zone which is right near the beach, we went shopping and then went and sat on the beach

in puerto vallarta, we went to the jungle area, no beach

sorry

All the beaches in Mexico are public beaches, and all the beaches in these port towns are easily accessible by the public, with the exception of Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta that is privately owned by Vallarta Adventures.

Many of the beaches in Puerto Vallarta are only accessible by boat (Las Animas, Quimixto, Majahuitas, Las Caletas, Yelapa), but many are also accessible by land (La Manzanilla, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Los Muertos, Mismaloya). Lovers Beach in Cabo is only accessible by boat as well.

You will have no trouble finding a nice beach to spend time on at any of the ports.

Hope this helps, have a great time!
