Should I be excited??

I had booked a guaranteed AD mini suite on the Coral Princess going to the Panama Canal on December 10. We finally got our cabin assignment today.

We are in an AA mini suite #215 on the Baja deck. Can someone tell me about this cabin? Will we be happy?

You should be happy with any upgrade, especially a mini-suite.. You most always get a better accommodation through an upgrade...

Even though many people don't consider a category to category bump an upgrade I love them. I prefer being at midship so I'll always be happy with a bump like that.

Not always the case on Princess when getting an upgrade within a balcony or minisuite category your cabin size doesn't change but you may end up with a smaller balcony.

 

A215 is pretty far forward so you will feel the motion more. Personally I like the balconies on the AD's better than the AA's on this ship but that is the chance you take with a guarantee. I wouldn't worry about it as long as your not terribly prone to motion sickness.
