Ships R Great Posted August 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2004 I know, I know, it's been on the board for days. But---Has anyone called Celeb and talked to anyone about the new rule about no discounting? Does it mean no discounting or no advertising about discounts? Can we still call an online agent and get a discount? One site says one thing and another site says something else!
tuggers Posted August 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2004 I thought we would leave that job to 'awe' and her 'buds' Jack and Victoria?

fierball Posted August 12, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2004 I talked to them yesterday and I was told that sometimes there might be a state that is given a discount but if your drivers lisence is from a different state you can not get the discount. You have to have a lisence to match the state that has the discount. They also would not tell me what states have discounts and which ones don't. Last year I was on the Zenith and found there were people that had booked the same cruise for a lot less than we did.(same cat) We booked the same cruise last night on the Zenith for Feb 13th and it is about $500.00 more this year than last. Sure would be nice if we could get the discounts that some states do. This is our 5th trip with Celeberity.
