Best time of year for Scandinavia/Russia cruise?

Recommended Posts

we cruised the Baltic August 30-Sept 11 last year and the weather was lovely, in the 60-70's. Cool at night, but in all very pleasant. On a couple days with a shower or two, didn't bother us at all. We returned to London on Sept 11 and it was in the upper 80's.

Most ports were busy but not overly crowded.

We didn't go on a cruise to Scandinavia, touring by land instead. However, we went at the end of June, early July. It was fantastic because of the extremely long days, being so close to the summer solstice. It was also only in the 70's at that time of the summer.
