Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale.....

Has anyone been to Sand Cay in Nassau, better known as Gilligan's Island? We're only there in Nassau from 7-2 on our upcoming trip in 19 days, and we're curious, is there a way to get there, or at least somewhere on Nassau you can take a picture of it from? We don't have much time left before we go, any responses are appreciated.

as we went by it on the water taxi in 2003. I don't believe it is one of the islands you can actually get "on" but I may be wrong. One of the crew members of the water taxi we were on was pointing things out to my kids and that was one of the ones they cared to hear about. Have a great trip!

Our first cruise on the Fantasy they offered it on the ship, it was wonderful we spent the entire day there. We went back on the Glory last year with my children and planned to take them there and it wasn't offered, very disappointed. If you can find a way there I would highly recommend spending the day there.

In 1992, on the Big Red Boat we went to their private island named Salt Cay and were told it was Gilligan's island. Of course, things change in 15 years.

Just another note, we were recently on Oahu and went to a harbor where the beginning of Gilligan's island was filmed (before they left the dock).

Sorry this didn't help, but have a great cruise!

When you took the water taxi, where were you going? I'm trying to figure out which direction we need to go, or where you can see it from.
