derf5585 Posted August 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Immediately adjacent to the cruise terminal, the Port operates a patrolled, fenced, and lighted outside parking lot from http://www.portno.com/cruise_info.htm#PARKING
Brneyznfl Posted August 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Also a couple of blocks away is the Fulton garage. It's covered parking and 12.00 a day. They also have a shuttle to and from the pier. http://www.cruiseparkingneworleans.com/index.htm
lswaaley Posted August 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Call the Maison St Charles and ask for there special cruise package which also includes a limo ride to the boat and some other extras. We are staying there in January and parking our car during our Carnival Sensation cruise.
chryl Posted August 12, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2004 We stay at the Holiday inn westbank. The morning of the cruise we take are car across the ferry and check in are luggage then take the car back across on the ferry. We then ride the ferry back and walk through a mall right to the ship. We had a great time doing this and we didn't have to pay for any parking .
modnar Posted August 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2004 We stayed at the Hilton Riverside, so we parked in their parking garage. It was $99 for the cruise special that included 7 days free parking. We also had to pay $20 or $22 for the first night of parking, though.

Cotton Posted August 12, 2004 #8 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Sherri, if at all possible, try to get into the Port Authority lot. It's just a few feet from their gate to the terminal. And yes, Fulton St. Garage is a great alternative. The only drawback is - even though they have the complimentary shuttle service to and from the pier, TO the pier is usually quick and easy, because folks are staggered when arriving...... However, when you return, there's a HUGE line of folks trying to get on the shuttle at the same time. The shuttle's not fast, so it takes quite awhile unloading folks at the garage and getting back to the pier for another bunch.;)
