"Jersey" Bar on Orient Beach

I heard that there is a bar on Orient Beach that overflows with all things New Jersey - license plates, roadsigns etc.

Anyone know of this place?

We stopped and had late lunch at Baywatch on our 5/25 Explorer cruise. Best meal on the trip. And reasonable (not cheap) for what you get. Then on to the sands of Club O for 3 hours of tanning all over before cabbing back to the pier. The new rates are posted at the pier as $7 pp to Orient but the drivers charged $6 PP on the way up (9 people in the van) and also $6 pp going back (6 people in the van).

 

The downtown stores close starting at 5:30 PM until the place is shutdown at 6 PM, including the public restroom on the boardwalk !!. Stores at the pier stay open until 7 PM. We were advised by a long-term storeowner that there is a growing crime problem at night.

I just went to the taxi cartel's web site and noticed that the new $7 rate applies only to 3 people. I think I took a picture showing the $7 rate for all over 3 people (pier sign) and will have to check on that.

 

Baywatch was packed at 1:15 when we went in and all the women had their tops pulled up. Drat. :p
