Soccerfans Posted June 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Can anyone settle a question? Is a Carnival VIP anyone who has sailed with them in the past or is a VIP someone that actually booked their "next" cruise while on a cruise? We're traveling on Glory 12/1 with parents and in-laws who are both past Carnival guests. My Mom thinks they are not VIP because they didn't book the 12/1/7 cruise while on their last sailing. Mom-in-law thinks they are VIP because they have sailed with Carnival in the past. Thanks in advance all!
molme Posted June 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2007 VIP is for guests booked in a Cat 11 or 12 or someone who has sailed at least nine times before with Carnival.

sjohnson529 Posted June 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 4, 2007 I think there are exceptions to that rule. I went on the Inspiration in April and there were a group in front of us, about 6 people, who had never cruised before. We were chatting with them and they were staying on the Riveria deck, inside rooms, and they all had "VIP" written on their tickets. I think sometimes perhaps the travel agents arrange something?
