Mobile Alabama transportation

Has anyone sailed on the Holiday and used other transportation besides carnival's? I need transportation for a family of 6. Are there any good (reputable) shuttle companies in the area?

heh there! i was looking for storm info and just happened to see your post. i've lived in Mobile for 25+ years so took a look in the Yellow Pages for u. Nothing under shuttles but then looked under limo's and see one that picks up at airport/hotels. [url]www.topofthebaylimos.com[/url] There were others too but no webpage associated with those.

cruising is going to be brand new to Mobile but I'm sure the City wants this to be a great success so if you have any problems, give Mayor Dow's office a call at 251 208 7395! and please be patient with us (Mobile) as we get inaugurated into "cruising".

Thanks, I'm trying to help friends get an alternative to Carnival's $50 per person transfers. For 6 people that adds up to a lot of cash. How far is the airport from the pier? I'm guessing it must be far for transfers to be that high.

Yes, it is all the way across town (airport is on west end of Mobile County and docks/port are on east end just off I-10). Probably 25-30 minutes by van in light traffic. J
