Nachicocum & Dolphin Discovery advice needed

We'll be on the Disney Magic in September with 2 other families. Some of us plan to go to Nachicocum, on the all-inclusive plan, and others would like to go, but not on the 'plan', as they don't believe they'll eat/drink enough to cover the fee. Is this possible? I wonder if we could all still make reservations through the club, even though some in our group won't be all-inclusive?

Also, we were thinking of doing the dolphin discovery for our 6yo's. Should we go to Nachicocum from about 9-3:00, and then try to do the Dolphin encounter at 3:30? How long does it take to get from Nachicocum to the Dolphin area?

This is so confusing! So many great places to go, and it's hard to decide when you've never been there!

With the little ones, you might do better to book your Dolphin Discovery and stay at the Chakanab beach. It is a nice beach, with a shallow cove for the little ones and deeper water for snorkelers. Nice restaurant there, and other animal exhibits and performances. Probably better all around. If you are swimming with the Dolphins, you will want to do this especially. You can book through Dolphin Discovery and then take a cab to the park. Park admission was about $10 pp for adults, not sure about kids, and then you go in and enjoy all the good things they have to offer before and after your dolphin encounter/swim.

Go to http://www.cozumelinsider.com for more information on all the things happening in Cozumel, but personally think you will enjoy the time spent at Chakanab. Nachi is nice, with lots of water sports but believe the kids that age will prefer Chakanab.
