Which is better for booking Celebrity Direct or Travel Agency?

Which is better for booking a cruise ,Celebrity Direct or Travel Agency? If the price goes down can a TA get you a credit like Celebrity direct does? Thanks

My personal experience is my TA is much better than Celebrity direct! She also offers us on board credit and the fare is still the same through Celebrity! The last 2 cruises we have booked with her, she is giving us $250.00 OBC each!!! You get nothing with Celebrity direct. She monitors everything & if there is any price change she is aware of it. She also gets the "best" cabins when a cruise opens up and we always get the cabin we want! She also let's us know of specials or cruises ahead of time that we may be interested in as she knows our preferences!!!

Yep--use a TA!!!!:D

#1 Good travel agent

#2 Cruise line direct

#3 Cruise line direct with a bad/incompetent rep

#4 Bad travel agent

 

Problem is that you never know which you're dealing with until after the fact
