Whales?

We did a whale-watching tour through Princess in early March. Although I'd do it again unquestionably, we saw one whale up close and personal and another in the distance. No guarantees, but still worthwhile. Have fun!

We were there in late November 2005 and did a whale watching tour.

Nice boat, especially on the outside decks.

We saw two 'pods' and followed them when they surfaced. The guys are brilliant at spotting them.

The whales are much smaller than you'd expect, but it's still awesome to see them.

Only downside for us was that whilst we were waiting for the whales to resurface (45 mins I think) they opened the punch and played the same tunes over and over, and very loud. The boat had several families aboard and no one was looking for a party boat, although they tried (and failed) to make it so.
