A couple of things

Ok first off, I'm booked for the May 24, 2008 sailing on the Carnival Liberty for my honeymoon.

I booked online by myself (first mistake). When I look at my booking info it says my promo code was PNS. I was wondering what that was. I booked a specific cabin, so I odn't want upgrades, but any price drops would be welcome.

Can I change my promo code now? if so are there any out there that will get me a cheaper rate on a 1A room. (I booked one of those fantastic 1a's with windows and king beds) Or are they only applicable on 4a or above (I think I read that somewhere)?

LASTLY!!! is there anyway for me to look up my PVP's phone extension? As I mentioned before I booked online and she contacted me about 2 weeks later with her info. I have since lost that info and I was wondering if there was an easy way to get it from carnival.

Thanks all

I have asked for a PVP extension at the toll free number with no problem. As long as you have the name it is easy.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! Honey you just booked a bunk bed cabin for your honeymoon. You need to change the cabin right away.

The ONLY ships that have king beds in category 1A are the Spirit class ships.

Notice on the new splendor these premo cabins are cat 6Bs now.

Note: Cabin has 1 twin-1 sofabed on: LI - FD - VA (1A OSLS).

Cabin 2465 (1A OSUL) 220 sq ft

sorry Legend--who ya gonna believe-- carnival brochure books or people who actually sailed in those cabins.

above is the picture of the 1A on the Liberty.

Now Glory has a twin bed and a convertible sofa.

(dont always believe everything carnival--or any cruiselines tell you)

there are MANY MANY posts here about these special 1A cabins. Many photos on those posts too.

(these cabins are also on the VIctory/Destiny and Triumph too.)

but go quickly since they are very big cabins for the cheapest amount of money

Thanks for looking out for my interests, though. (UNLESS, you knew that and are trying to get my cabin... hahaha) I went through the same stuggle, believe those lovely posters who've stayed in the cabins (serene and Zydeco) or Carnival. I choose those who've stayed in them. I'm confident that I'm getting a great deal. I'm just eager to dsave money if there's money to save. :)

Serene's reply was right on the mark! The description given in CCL brouchures, as well as in the 'script' often used by the phone center, are for the majority of the 1A cabins. . . but not all.

I was in one of those unique 1A cabins on Carnival Liberty just three weeks ago, and I can assure you there was definitely no upper/lower situation to deal with. The layout of the cabin is great and the view is superb, but I have to do a little "myth buster" in advising that they are not perfect locations by any means. Their aft position over the engines can make for an extremely bumpy voyage at times. Lay your tolietries down on the bathroom shelves, because if you have them upright they might not stay that way for long.
