Pusniski Posted June 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2007 We loved it, loved it, loved it! :D If we stayed there instead of cruising we wouldn't have been disappointed at all. The place is very nice and well kept. We couldn't swim because of rip current warnings, but that didn't stop us from getting our feet wet at the water's edge and squishing the sand inbetween our toes. I didn't realize how close the cruise ships come near it either. Very cool! Service was great and the food we thought was good. We had dinner at Charley's Crab based on their recommedation. Charley's Crab didn't disappoint and we ended up with a table on the water. If we should cruise out of FLL again or take a land vacation there, we are going to stay here again. :)
Bequia Posted June 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2007 Fantastic!! I just knew you'd enjoy it. The Lago Mar is a real gem. I really hope they don't sell to the Ritz Carlton, that would really spoil it.
Pusniski Posted June 9, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 9, 2007 I saw that! I can imagine what that'd do to the place. Their service is on par with a higher star resort while not being stuffy. I love it the way it is!
