Hi Everyone!

I am the unseasoned cruiser on this board. This will be my 2nd cruise in Dec, on Carnival to Eastern Caribbean.

Any helpful hints on excursions not to be missed or dive operators that you highly recommend? APPRECIATE IT!

Here is our itinerary:

  • Half Moon Cay
  • St Thomas
  • San Juan
  • Grand Turk

love the screen name...you must be a teacher:) LOL

St. Thomas: If you want a great beach experience make sure you check out Magen's Bay. It's breath-taking.

San Juan: we just walked around in Old San Juan (walking distance from pier)...loved The Haitian art gallery there.

Enjoy Half moon cay, it's the best port ever!!! I can't wait to go back!!!! St. Thomas is great too. We took a snorkle excursion which we could have avoided... later, we went to Coki beach and the snorkling there was way better than the excursion. San Juan... DO NOT GO TO THE BEACH!!!!, shop, go somewhere, walk around, but do not go to the beach, it's ugly and compared to Half moon cay & St. Thomas, it's a swamp.

Grand Turk, great beach too. We also snorkled and had a great time at Margarite Ville!!! Eastern caribbean is the best itinerary ,enjoy!!!!
