MikeyLikesIt007 Posted June 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2007 Hi All! I am trying to decide between a Royal Caribbean cruise that stops at Coco Cay and a Carnival cruise that stops at Half Moon. I have read that some of the stops at Coco Cay have been cancelled due to rough seas not allowing safe passage to the island via the tenders. Does anyone know if there are similar, and as frequent, problems with the tenders going to Half Moon? Thanks!
bruce-r Posted June 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2007 I don't know if the frequency of missing those island is the same. I would suspect they are similar. I don't know how much this will matter, but I think that the ship will use it's own tenders on CC and HMC has larger land based tenders. I would think that larger tenders would have a little better luck if conditions were marginal. I haven't been to CC, but HMC is by far superior to Princes' island.
