5-night cruise--what's the dinner dress?

I think you may have 1 formal night, but this will all be printed in your docs.

When we last did the Hawaii cruise, a lot of paxs got off in LA (ship was homeporting from there at the time) and more got on for the 3 day cruise up to Vancouver, I do remember 1 formal night and the rest were casual.

Check your docs when they come.

There may be one formal night, but I doubt if it will be very dressy.

Ever since I saw that the Zuiderdam was going to do 5 day cruises I have been wondering what they would be like. I know that RCI and Carnival and perhaps others have done short cruises both out of Florida and California.

I think that they are known as 'booze cruises' or 'party cruises' and attract a lot of first time cruisers and party people. A person who was once in the industry told me that cruise lines make just as much from the bar in in a 3 or 4 day cruise as it does on a 7 day cruise.

Any thoughts on this?
