Mustanggirl Posted June 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2007 I am a little confused. coming from the lincoln tunnel on carnivals website it says that from 12th avenue you turn left onto 55th street. However, I have seen on other threads that you have to go past the terminal and turn around. Which is it?
smeyer418 Posted June 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2007 sometimes when the pier backs up they close the left hand turn from 55th street and send you up next to the elevated highway and you make a left under it at 59th street and then another left to get back to the pier. Its a traffic control issue. lately however with less ships in Manhattan(since there is both a Red Hook cruise terminal and one in Bayonne) it=the turn at 55th- has been closed less often. Mustanggirl Posted June 12, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 12, 2007 thanks, thats all I needed to know. I think the day we leave we are the only ship in port, so hopefully it should not be a problem.
