gzusnme Posted June 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2007 I am a newbie to this. Can someone explain the guarantee booking/cabins? I was given a cabin number when I reserved. Will my cabin be subject to change?
jleq Posted June 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2007 Since it appears you booked a specific cabin, it's extremely doubtful your cabin will change. I'd say impossible....but everything is theoretically possible. Wennfred Posted June 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2007 The cabin number you selected will be the one you will keep until the last day of the cruise. Fred
okgirl Posted June 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2007 The cabin number you selected will be the one you will keep until the last day of the cruise. Fred On my last cruise on the Freedom, I booked a specific cabin but with a guarantee category upgrade, you can do either way. When I first made my reservation I wanted to be in a specific part of the ship so I selected the cabin it was an OV, but about 10 days out Carnival called my CVC rep and offered an upgrade to a balcony, I looked at where the cabin was and liked it so I took it. Normally though I just book a 4A guarantee and take what they give me, I'm not in the room much so I really don't care too much what cabin I get. My current edocs are still showing my 4A guarantee, with my cabin TBA, I'm 81 days out and I may not know where I'm going until I get to the ship
