Pride of America

Recommended Posts

Cruised on the Pride of America last June. had a great time. This is a great way to see the islands. Lots of good an bad reviews on this ship. Had a balcony on the starboard side and was glad to be on that side. Best for ports except Kona which faced out to sea (tenders to shore).

We just returned from PoAm this week and had a great time. You can't get a better itinerary for seeing the islands than NCLA. The ship itself is not the best ship I have ever sailed on but the itinerary and crew more than make up for it. The ship is clean and the crew very friendly despite complaints about things they can't control. The staterooms are very small compared to other ships so don't over pack...there is no need to pack a lot anyway, since the islands are very casual. I would recommend this trip to anyone wishing to see all the islands in one week without having to repack every 2 days. If you want to be pampered and waited on every minute, this cruise is not for you. Like anything else in life, a cruise is what you make it, not what the cruiseline does for you.;)
