Drink and soda coupons ?

Buddee, yep, they already include the tip!!! I ordered many for my last cruise and have been ordering some every other week for my upcoming cruise. They are not cost effective if you use them for beer or lower priced drinks, but for the frozen cocktails and above, you come out better!!! Good luck!

I appreciate the info. As a surprise, I'm planning on sending drink coupons to my son's cabin for his first cruise, and didn't know much about them. Thx. (See? I continue to learn from this board.);)

There will be a letter in your cabin saying that "so & so" has purchased drink coupons for you and to see the dining room host to pick up your coupons. On our Miracle cruise, the hostess came over to our table the first nite at dinner and gave us the coupons. This also applies to photo coupons.

Another Drink Coupon Question:

They come out to about $4.95 per drink and I understand that you avoid the 15% tip. Obviously, this is not advantage if you are getting drinks that cost $4.25 or less.

What happens when you get a $6.00 drink? Do you save the $1.05 + 15% tip or do they charge your S&S card $1.05, so in reality you are just saving the tip?

Where can you purchase these ahead of time. I was looking on carnivals site but only saw fun ship dollars. Thank you for your help.

Go to "Gifts", then "Most Popular Items", then go to "Next" for page 2. You'll see Bar Credits- 4 per order....

I've never been billed extra for using coupons on more expensive drinks. Now, if you're ordering a Cognac that runs $25 per shot or something, I'm betting you'll have to pay extra.

I was told that you can purchase a "soda card" when you get on the ship and that will just cover the soda but is there a tip after each soda you get?

How does the tipping work on your drinks(alcohol)? Do they charge you a % after each drink or do they just add 15% and the end of cruise and put it on your bill?
