dentistmEL Posted June 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2007 I was wondering if anyone has the menus for the Norwegian Jewel. We are sailing in August and i like to see what nights i prefer to eat in the main dining halls vs. speciality restaurants. i went on the dawn last year and someone had the menus and it really helped me out in deciding where to eat. I have 2 other questions for the people that have sailed on the jewel to the western mediterean-1. when is the formal night and 2. anyone know how many shows and when they are in terms of times or dates. i have always received such useful information here and i thank everyone. this will be my 5th NCL cruise:) this time with the whole family to europe

ZZROX Posted June 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2007 We're also on that sailing. After a full day of touring...don't think we're getting to dressed up.
Don Haynes Posted June 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Keep in mind there is no official formal nights with NCL. Resort casual is always welcomed in all NCL dining rooms and speciality restaurants. Old habits die hard, and many do still wish to dine formally, or semi formally on the dress up if you like nights. Menus have changed again. Shows are usually twice per evening...but that changes...first evening just one show....welcome aboard show. You really must check your "daily'. Shows are usually twice per evening...but that can change. Staff talent show is usually only one show....passenger talent show...usually just one evening show. You can only pre-plan so much. Relax and go with the flow. Ncl is freestyle;) Have a wonderful cruise:)
ZZROX Posted June 22, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2007 We will be wearing resort wear...just not bringing along suits or dresses.
Cosmopolitan Posted June 23, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2007 We will be wearing resort wear...just not bringing along suits or dresses. I agree:) Sundresses easy to pack but not the suits. DH usually wears a sports jacket when embarking. This way, we don't have to pack it;)
