What's the penalty?

If you don't pay in full by the final payment date, what is the penalty? Do they cancel your booking? charge a fee?

 

I'm not asking for any personal reason - my cruises are paid in full. I'm just curious.

I always thought :confused: they they had the ability to cancel your booking - if you did not make final payment. But I have no idea how fast that would happen. I'm sure that there is some sort of window if you are late - but I have never cared to find out...lol ;) !

It can be cancelled at any time. If you cancel, normal cancellation penalites will apply.

According to the woman I spoke to at Carnival they give you a window of a few days (I needed my final payment date extended by like 4 days). But I wouldn't take the chance. I got approval from a supervisor at Carnival and it's noted on my account that I'll be making my payment by the new date.
