SmileMom Posted June 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2007 You're going to see this post twice...once on this board and once on the Key West board. :) Where's the firehouse in Cozumel? I'm sure DH would love to see it.
bruce-r Posted June 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Without going to find my http://www.cancunmap.com Cozumel map, I'd bet that you'd have to take a taxi to get to it, so my suggestion would be to ask the taxi driver to take you there. SmileMom Posted June 22, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 22, 2007 I checked the map (thanks again!), but no firehouse. I found the police station, the hospitals and even the Red Cross, but no firehouse. :( We'll be renting a car, so I'm sure we can ask someone. Just a thought, you might want to use one of the english to spanish translation websites and get the spanish words for firehouse or fire station, or even a sentence asking for the address for them. Print them out and take them with you.
Cozumel_Tom Posted June 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2007 You're going to see this post twice...once on this board and once on the Key West board. :) Where's the firehouse in Cozumel? I'm sure DH would love to see it. It's on JUAREZ. I think just a block or 2 down from #22 on this map: http://www.gocozumel.com/map.htm

What you were really thinking: Um, well they might not speak english. Did ya think of that, blondie? Thanks for being nice. :) Thanks, Tom! Knowing it's on Juarez is a big help. bruce-r Posted June 23, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2007 LOL! Thanks for the tip, bruce! Can you tell this is my first venture to a foreign country? What you were really thinking: Um, well they might not speak english. That wasn't what I was thinking. It was what I'd do for myself. Not everyone in Cozumel speaks conversational English.
