Norfolk Brit Posted June 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Does anyone know if we need to apply for visas - we are visiting Turkey as part of a Med cruise on QE2 and, in print the size of an ant's toenail, the brochure says that one is required. I have rung Cunard and been told that I can get one at immigration in Turkey. I have a questioning nature where information from Cunard is concerned, so rang my travel agent who says I need to apply for one in advance. Any help gratefully received - am trying to avoid the Turkish visa telephone number where they doubtless charge you millions of pounds to play you endless rather dodgy music then cut you off;). dak Posted June 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Don't think there is a problem. You get a stamp at the point of entry and that does 3 months. I can't even remember it when we were there a few years ago! http://www.turkishconsulate.org.uk/en/visa.htm footnote 3 refers. Enjoy your cruise. David Thank you David; my formerly trusting nature has changed beyond recognition since my encounters with Cunard admin, so had checked out the Turkish visa website but wasn't sure whether to believe it or not.;) And enjoy your cruise too.
