DeckCadet Posted August 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2004 Well, they're BIG! nice large private balcony (the category 11 minisuites on these ships aren't as private, and balconies are a valuable commodity on this class), large bathroom with whirlpool tub, walk in closet, large vanity area, TV, lots of storage space, sleeping area and separate living area (glass divider) which has a sofa which converts to a bed. On Paradise we had room outside for a lounge chair, table and regular chair.
CoachTerry14 Posted August 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2004 I have stayed in a Category 12 room eight times: (Carnivale, Ecstasy, Truimph, Fantasy, Pride, & Sensation, Conquest & Glory). The Cat. 12 cabin in the Fantasy Class is just Ok compared to the Destiny Class and Spirit Class. There are no obstructed views (CAT. 12) on the Fantasy and Destiny Class. There are some partially obstructed views on the Spirit Class. I have no idea about the Holiday Class. Don't forget about the Skipper's Club! Cat. 12 (Fantasy Class) Suites: * The cabin dimension is 14' x 23 1/2'; the balcony is 14' x 5' * 18" television * VCR with remote control * bar area (not stocked) * refrigerator (not stocked) * combination shower/whirlpool/bathtub * sitting area consists of an L-shaped couch (seats 5), two chairs, and a coffee table. * twin beds that convert to king * walk-in closet with plenty of hangers and space * wall safe in closet is 6"w x 4.5"h x 5"l * The verandah patio consists of one lounge, two chairs and a small table. Cabin door to balcony does not stay open on its own.
luv2cruise123 Posted August 16, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted August 16, 2004 And I apologize for the "double" post. I will forward this to them. Great info to have for future reference. We are looking forward to the Sensation in NO!
tef43 Posted August 16, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2004 Keep in mind that, on the Fantasy Class ships, the term "penthouse suite" is a complete misnomer. The Cat 12 suites (largest) are all on Upper Deck (Deck 6), while the Cat 11 (mini-suites, if you will) are all on the Verandah Deck (11).
