carnival hot tubs & times available

Anyone that has been on carnival lately, can you tell me if they are any better with the rule of no kids alone in the hot tub? also, how late are the hot tubs open?

We have done princess since, but were on both the Triumph & the Elation a few years ago and no matter what time we tried to get in the hot tub it was filled with little kids & no adults. then when we tried to go in at night after the early show we found that the hot tubs were closed at 10pm. This was hugely frustrating. I am planning another cruise & trying to decide which line to go on and won't choose carnival if their policy hasn't changed.

I just cruised on the Valor a few weeks ago, the hot tubs seemed fine. Although they do close at 10pm still, the main pool's hot tubs seem to have more kids. Its when you go to the Aft pool you have some trouble in that area.
