travgurl Posted June 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2007 Do I need to print my documents? I booked through AAA, I was told they would receive them to give to me. Also, what is a good way to mark your luggage?
jleq Posted June 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2007 If AAA is going to send you a "hard copy", no real need to print them, too

Also, what is a good way to mark your luggage? Jim has already answered your doc question. As for marking your luggage, you can do whatever you are comfortable to to your luggage to make it stand out. I have read everything from painting it with a unique pattern or picture, to wrapping the handle with a bright tape, to doing what I do, using bright ribbon to tie a small bow on the handle. It depends on you and what you want.

Also, what is a good way to mark your luggage? I believe that you will eventually have to print your own documents on your computer. Most of the cruise lines are doing it that way. Of course for those that do not have a computer, they will continue to provide paper documents through the travel agent and the US Post office. A good way to mark your luggage is to buy brightly colored straps to go around your bags. I use them all the time for cruising and flying. Not only does the strap let you identify your luggage quickly, they prevent the bag from opening in case the latches or something go bad. ;)
Mrs. Connie Posted June 28, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 28, 2007 Mine had brightly colored gift wrap ribbon tied to the handle. I found it right away. I even saw a luggage handle with a tube sock tied to it - anything to make it stand out in the "sea of black bags." Mrs. Connie
