Which class of ships is the Destiny?

Morning all! I was reading the post about water slides and it said that some of the ships had waterslides that ran into the pool and others that did not. How do I find out what the class of a certain ship is? Just curious. Thanks for any help. :)

Destiny Class. It is the only ship in this class.

Yes it is Destiny class and it is the only Destiny class ship but the Triumph and the Victory are identical ships with an additional deck squeezed in up top. The Conquest class ships are also identical to the Triumph and Victory except that the have a 50' section added near the back of the ship that includes the specialty restaurant, an additional buffet setup, a wedding chapel etc, and of course more cabins. So Destiny/Triumph/Victory/Conquest and her sisters are all from the same basic plan and all have slides midship.

 

Spirit class ships have slides aft. But all Carnival ships have a slide.

The classes are named after the first ship in a series of sister ships.

 

Holiday Class:

1985 Holiday

1987 Celebration

 

Fantasy Class:

1990 Fantasy

1991 Ecstasy

1993 Sensation

1994 Fascination

1995 Imagination

1996 Inspiration

1998 Elation

1998 Paradise

 

Destiny Class:

1996 Destiny

Triumph Class:

1999 Triumph

2000 Victory

 

Spirit Class:

2001 Spirit

2001 Pride

2002 Legend

2004 Miracle

 

Conquest Class:

2002 Conquest

2003 Glory

2004 Valor

2005 Liberty
