To all veterans: Has any one ever stayed in this deluxe family stateroom with veranda? it is on Deck 8. I was wondering if it is insulated from noise since the deck above is I think a play area for kids.:confused:

We were in a regular suite (cat 3) and it was quite loud, I never understood why DCL put the most expensive cabins under the pool and such? Bring ear plugs LOL- no I am just kidding, at night the kids club settles right down, they have the youngins watchign movies in sleeping bags, our suite was right under the pool and each morning I would hear chairs scraping it made me nuts, then I learned to just get soft foam earplugs and all was fine. you have a great location you will have a wonder-full trip :)
