Best snorkling: Barbados or St. Martin?

If you had to choose snorkeling in Barbados ( Thriller Tours w/ Stephan) or St. Martin ( Lord Sheffields) which would you pick. Keeping in mind this will be our first snorkeling tour.Which has better , clearer waters. We will be on the AOS. Also, any suggestions for St. Thomas?? I've been looking at the boards and at RCCL's site and nothing really seems to be jumping out at me. I have no preference in land / sea.

I've been to both islands but have not snorkeled either of them. From what I have seen, Barbados has more turbulent and rocky water than St Martin/St Maarten has. I would think that the deeper diving is much better at Barbados, but for calmer snorkeling, I would guess St Martin. I hope someone has a solid answer for you.
