A Full Day at 7M Beach

There are 5 of us and we would like to make a day of it at Seven Mile Beach. A couple of questions.

 

1) I have already reserved a car through Avis for about $40/day. Is that necessary or should we just cab it? Unless I am blown away by one spot at this long beach, i'ld probably like to go beach hoppong.

 

2) Which brings me to this question. Are there interesting enough beaches to go beach hopping?

 

I sure appreciate any advise you have. I would like to take in the best in this area.

 

P.S. I've already done the eastern end of the Island on a previous cruise. We'll be leaving in 10 days on the Conquest and you folks have always helped tremendously with advise on different ports of call.
