Carnival Glory balcony cabin?

I am looking for a balcony cabin in Carnival Glory (Dec 15). It is our first time cruise. We are kind of worrying about seasick. We also prefer a quiet place since we plan to spend a lot of time in room. Any suggestions what room is great will be appreciated. thanks a lot.

Pointers to consider: the Glory has no obstructed view balconies so any room you get will have a very nice view. If you are concerned about seasickness, try to stay toward the middle of the ship. There is less movement there than forward or aft. Aft cabins have the largest balconies on the ship but typically sell out very quickly. They also get very little breeze.

If you want quiet, stay away from the "white areas" you see on the deck plans at Carnival's website. Most of these are crew service areas, ice machines, storage cabinets, etc. You might also want to move a bit away from the elevators and stairways if you can. I've stayed directly across the hall from an elevator lobby and never heard any noise. Also, wtach where the public spaces are both above your room and below. If your room is above a lounge, bar, or casino, expect to hear some noise. Same goes for if you are directly under the pool deck. The crew moves those chairs around in the middle of the night to clean the decks so it could get noisy. My advice would be to find a room between other passenger decks.

Hope that helps. We'll be on board the week before you. We're staying up on the Panorama deck and are really looking forward to our trip!
