We are cruising on the Carnival Destiny in December. Our first stop is St. Thomas and neither of us have been there before. We are looking a for a tour with some of the must see sites in St. Thomas and then a beach where we can relax under an umbrella (I am extremely fair skinned) and maybe snorkel a bit. What sites should we definitely see and what beach is the best? Can you recommend any tour guides?

TIA

My wife and I used EEE Tours while on our honeymoon cruise. Henry is great and will make your stay on his island wonderful. He took us to Sapphire Beach and it was a great beach with trees so you can sit in the shade. We sailed on the Mariner of the Seas and RCCL had a sunset sail excursion on the Castaway Girl, CCL might do something similar. Hope this helps.

We used Sunny Liston. http://www.sunnylistontours.com He was excellent. $25 p/p and he gives you 1, 2 or 3 hours of shopping in the downtown Main St area, then about an hour and a half tour of the island. Then he will take you to the beach of your choice, Sapphire, Coki or Megan's Bay. We chose Sapphire which is a beautiful beach. You can rent snorkel equipment there and also chairs. There is a bathroom and a snack bar.
