Benji817 Posted July 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2007 OK, I'm a newbie so please forgive me for the question.... :o What's a Freestyle Daily that I keep reading about in a lot of posts? (I tried searching the board for a direct answer to this but gave up). I gather that it's some type of "newsletter"? What's in it? Do you get a new one every day? Does it come to your room or is it posted somewhere? Thanks for your help! :)
pajammies Posted July 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2007 That's it, daily newsletter. It gives you all your info about dining, entertainment, activities, specials and so-on. It will be in your stateroom every evening. Read it cover to cover so you don't miss anything.:)

It will give you all of the ship activities for the next day. Shows, game shows, art auctions, demonstrations, lounge information, hours of restaurants/lounges/casino, etc. Specials of the day - spa, drinks, restaurants, etc. If it is going to be a port day, it will have an insert with information about the port. When you leave your cabin, carry it with you as it is hard to remember everything that is going on. There are usually extras in the Atrium if you need one. To view a sample of some Freestyle Dailies, here is a link to the dailies from our 6/10/07 Spirit cruise: http://community.webshots.com/album/559569461PbQnzk I've found that the format is basically the same from ship to ship. Your activities will differ according to ship, ports, cruise length, etc. Use these boards to ask any questions you may have and have a wonderful time on your cruise! NoPiratesPlease Posted July 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 8, 2007 One of the few things we liked better about the CCL Victory over NCL (besides the coffee) was the way they organized THEIR daily newsletter/schedule. The schedule is on a tear-off so you don't have to carry the whole thing with you, just the schedule. It's much easier to figure out what's going on (but, sadly, on the Victory, that was less than on the Dawn or other NCL ships).
