Will be heading to the port of Mazatlan. I keep hearing of "Old Mazatlan" and the "Golden Zone". What exactly is in the "golden zone" ? Does anyone know where the "Dolphin Continuity of Life Sculpture" is located? Thank you ahead of time for any info.

Through the years the area called the Golden Zone has become larger and larger. It is an area where most of the hotel resorts along the beach are located. That now starts at hotel Los Sabalos and extends to the north along the coast to Hotel Pueblo Bonito.

The Dolphin Continuity of Life monument is on the coast just a few blocks north of Olas Altas, just past where the cliff divers & our large Mexican flag are.

Hope this helps KingDavid
