rxmurphy Posted May 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2004 probably a dumb question, but are the pools and casino open on Alaskan cruise, and is it warm enough mid july? Thanks! till happy hour
jennb Posted May 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Casinos are closed when the ship is in port. The pools are open. Hopefully you are on a ship with a covered pool - makes swimming a little more pleasant in cooler temps. Hot tubs are open, too. Genessa Posted May 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2004 the pools depend on the ship and you. We definitely had warm enough temps(one day) and the water was great on the Coral Princess, but we chose to go in the "indoor" pool. There were plenty of people using all of the pools and hot tubs, but Princess' pools are heated. Not hot, but not frozen.
srphnx Posted May 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2004 BUT... remember to plan ahead, I didn't think I wanted to swim, didn't bring trunks, no where to get em or get em reasoably priced anyway.
