Transportation from FFL To MIA

Need info on transportation from Ft Lauderdale to Miami. And how long of a drive is it?

It is about a 40 mile drive from FLL to Port of Miami. I have taken Carnival transfers (quoted $60pp last trip!!) and a company called Larrys Private Car. Larrys charged $102 each way incl gratuity for a 7 passenger Escillade. Picked us up at our Hotel (FLL Airport Hilton) and on the way back was there at 9:00am waiting for us (didn't get off the ship until after noon, but that is a different story).

 

If you have 2 people, the transfers are not a bad deal here. A cab is about $70 each way, I was told, so that may be a good option as well.

We used Larry's Limos and were pleased with it. There were five of us and the driver was waiting for us in the baggage claim area when we arrived. It was good.
