Has anyone else been told that the Greek government will not allow Windstar passengers to book round-trip sailings from Athens to Istanbul to Athens ? We were told that when trying to reserve a 14 day trip on the Windspirit next May. I even had our agent call several times, hoping that the Windstar reservations agent was in error, but the answer was always the same. We were able to get reservations roundtrip, starting from Istanbul to Athens to Istanbul, without a problem. If, indeed, this is Greek policy, aren't they losing tourist revenue ? Would have prefered the shorter flights to and from Athens, but acheived the main goal, 14 days of bliss in the Greek Isles.
