longtrip Posted July 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Hi, Has anyone stayed in cabins 9285 or 9286 or 9291 or 9292. These are inside staterooms nearest the door to the deck: http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Carnival/freedom.php If so, what is your opinion about these rooms? Thanks! kiffrig Posted July 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Longtrip- Unfortunately, I can't speak to those exact rooms, but I can tell you we had 9267 recently and LOVED it. It was so nice to be near the elevators (surprisingly we didn't have any noise to speak of there), close to the pool, the buffet, and everything else. It was the perfect cabin for us and we would stay in it again, in a heartbeat! I think the Lido deck is prime location for a room, but again, I haven't stayed in the ones you mentioned so someone else might be able to give you more valuable input. Happy Cruising to you! Thanks for your response. Did you experience very much boat movement that high up? I actually booked one of the rooms I mentioned on a 49 day cruise from Florida to California around South American. The ship for this cruise is now being built, the Splendor. On the Splendor, the rooms on the Lido deck have been raised to the Panomara deck (Deck 10) up one from the other similiar carnival ships. cruzmax Posted July 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2007 We were in Lido - Cabin 9277 (balcony) on Liberty last month and loved it! No noise, close to pool, etc., and was so handy for a quick trip to the room. I was apprehensive to be on Lido Deck, but will certainly choose it in the future. Sea Girls Posted July 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2007 We spent at least half our time up on the Lido deck. I would have loved to have had a room up there.
rufustelestrat Posted July 16, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2007 I had 9200 on the Destiny, and it was fine. The motion was not noticable and the location was perfect. RUF

You can definiately feel more movement from the higher decks, especially Deck 8. Fred
longtrip Posted July 16, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted July 16, 2007 Thanks for the info. I will stay with my room. The Lido deck layout for the ships listed in this post is on the Panorama deck on the new Splendor. Bob
george2000 Posted July 16, 2007 #9 Share Posted July 16, 2007 These are handicapped accessible rooms on the Glory. Don't know about the other ships.
