Anyone done the 17N Ven, Flo, Rome East Med Tour 4Eb?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what hotels Royal Caribbean booked. We're a family traveling with children and teens who plan to take this cruisetour in June 2008.

Where were the hotels situated?

What are the room sizes? Large enough for 3 people?

Were they clean, and comfortable?

Thanks !

We did this on the May 19 sailing of the Legend this year. Had three different versions of hotels...didn't know until just a few days before departure when they telephoned us what they would actually be. Hotels were clean, but rooms were very small. Venice was the Carlton & Grand Canal, Florence was the tiniest---couldn't pick up a dropped bar of soap without opening the shower door---can't remember the name of it, and in Rome we were at the Cicerone which was delightful. I would think they'd change the rooms dependent on how many in your party.

We LOVED Italy...you'll have a wonderful time...and the cruise itself is nothng short of spectacular. A fantastic opportunity to see SO many ports. I can't wait to go back to Greece and Italy!!! If you go to the Roll Call page you can find the lengthy thread from the Legend 5/19 trip...worth browsing over the last few pages for IMNile's pictures and there's a wonderful review done by Cousin Roy!!

Enjoy...;)

:) Thank you for your reply. We've been a few times to Europe and, usually, well located hotels are old and have small rooms (unless they are very expensive, and even so). Let's hope not. Well, at least the one in Rome was all right for you. For us, we'll have to wait and see . That aside, we cannot wait for next June to arrive. It seems so far...like it will never get here...
