I'm leaving on Saturday with my daughter. There is nothing better than sitting by the pool with an umbrella drink while the band plays "hot hot hot"!

Thanks for the review. I'm glad to read the positive things you have to say about the Elation. We sailed the Elation out of LA in 1999 and will do so again out of San Diego in October. It was cold sailing out of LA in June the 1st day until we passed Cabo. I wonder how cool or cold it will be in October? Will we need jackets?

 

We sailed out of San Diego last October on the Mercury and it was chilly the first and last day. I always bring a jogging suit for early morning walks on deck and a light wrap or sweater for evenings. Even if it is warm outside, it still can get cold in the dining room and/or show rooms. Which October cruise are you on? We are sailing on the 10/19 Elation six day cruise.
