Snow Wight Posted August 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2004 We are scheduled to sail at 4pm. What time should we arrive at the port and what time will we actually be able to board the ship?
miclane001 Posted August 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2004 I think Carnival says boarding starts at 1:30 but I was able to get on the Triumph last year around 12:00. I.M.H.O. it's better to get there early. The embarkation lines are usually shorter, you can get lunch on the ship and have a chance to sort of learn your way around. teedee Posted August 19, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Depends on how quickly they clear the ship from the previous cruise. Usually between 11:30 and 12:00, though I've been able to get onboard as early as 10:30. That only happened once, though. I like getting on as soon as possible! Can't wait for the cruise experience to begin. Terri
Peyton6 Posted August 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2004 We usually try to get there by 11am... and we've been able to be on the ship no later than noon! My friends and I will be on your cruise... we're hoping to grab a late breakfast and then head down to the pier around 10:30 or so that morning. Snow Wight Posted August 20, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted August 20, 2004 Hi Peyton6... I think that we will probably do the same, I'd like to get there too around 11-ish. 139 more days... see you there.
