Tribefans Posted July 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2007 Thanks for the pictures. They are great. How did you like Chank? How long were you there? Did you do any snorkeling from shore? Were there a lot of people trying to sell jewelry, etc? The lagoon looks like a pretty spot and it seems the vegetation is growing back from the hurricane damage. We are thinking of Chank as a place with a nice beach, not easy access to swimming, but a good place to snorkel a little. Thanks for your help. DJ-Squared Posted July 22, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted July 22, 2007 It was Great, We were there about 5 hours, food was great, Our friends Did the dolphine encounter and they were the only ones at the session. Snorkeling was Awesome. Fish were swimming all around us. We were not bothered by any vendors. They apparently had a little area of shops that are not open anymore. We will go back again. bruce-r Posted July 22, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 22, 2007 We were not bothered by any vendors. I'm pretty sure you won't find annoying vendors on any of the cozumel beaches, at least I never have.
CrystalBlue Posted July 23, 2007 #7 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Your pictures are great. It looks like a real relaxing place. Do you have to rent the chairs on the beach? How much was the taxi to get there? Thanks
